What I've been doing lately

Posted at 18 Jul 2006, 13:41:31 GMT:
As I've said in the previous blogpost as well, I've been busy doing various things lately.

The GameCreation Masterclass went very well. Got lots of positive responces. Unfortunately the last few classes are planned during school time so I'm done with the masterclasses this summer holiday. There are plans for a masterclass for experienced Game Maker users in the autumn though with me involved. So keep a close eye out on that website.

The Faethon Da Vinci project is done. I've got an 8 out of 10 for that. The only thing left to do is pass our experience on to the next group and once the project is completed present it in Vinci, Italy. :).

I have been working on rebuilding my Game Maker Website. Hyun offered some help on the design part so you'll see how the site turned out once he gets some spare time. Got lots of neat AJAX things included already :).

I've been working as well on building myself a portfolio website. Still not completely done though. I need to spend some more time writing out all the texts and perhaps fill it a bit more. Nevertheless I'm very interested in some large scale cross platform performance testing and usability tips.

Notice the neat Javascript options, AJAX integration, lofi and hifi mode, very complicated automated translation system and more. Please reply with your comments to this blog or mail them to me at webmaster@simondonkers.com.

Some other links you might find interesting.
Pretty extensive list of Game creation competions and prices
Brilliant Space Invaders remake. (hint: also try this excellent remake)
