Interesting that you say 'No, I have an illegal key'. Shouldn't it read: 'Yes, but i'm lame and have an illegal key?". Anyway, I bought mine, and am really glad I did. I don't know how many time's I've used GM6's image_angle variable alone.
I bought a registration key after version 5.2 of Game Maker was released. (I'm not sure that's correct) Anyways, as I hate spending money, I wanted to see the power of the particle system. So before buying it I used an illegal key (don't tell Mark ) to take a look at the particle demo. That was a nice surprise, so I bought a legal key, which I still use. Happy end
I registered when the key cost only $15 USD.
Some time later I won the GM Database cracking challenge, earning $50.
So I've actually earned $35 on registering GM!
